Salamone Rossi – The Songs of Solomon

Join Early Music Michigan as we explore the rich and varied output of Salamone Rossi – the Jewish, Italian composer of the late Renaissance who crossed cultural boundaries with his choral “Songs of Solomon” and stylistic boundaries with his instrumental and vocal writing that helped establish the new styles of the seventeenth-century Baroque.

Early Music Michigan is offering tickets on a pay-as-you-will basis. Recommended ticket prices are below, or choose what you want to pay! 

Recommended Ticket Prices
Student: $15 per ticket
General admission: $25 per ticket
Supporter’s Circle: $50 per ticket

All tickets bought for $50 or more per ticket will be considered “Supporter’s Circle” tickets. Donors will receive an EMM window cling, their names or a dedication added to our online list of Supporters and our online program for the concert, and our annual donor newsletter.

The Many Armed-Man – L’homme Armé – An Early Renaissance Mass-UpA choral concert featuring a variety of mass movements using the fourteenth-century secular chanson L’homme Armé as a cantus firmus (a pre-existing melody that forms the structural basis of a polyphonic musical composition).
