Early Music Michigan specializes in bringing to the public rarely performed music dating back hundreds of years, as well as music from our own time, performed in beautiful spaces with wonderful acoustics.

Your support of Early Music Michigan through concert attendance and donations helps to ensure that our unique form of music will continue to be available in Kalamazoo at a reasonable price. A tax-deductible donation can be made by writing a check and mailing it to us or by clicking on the PayPal donation button located below. Early Music Michigan’s EIN is 38-3296106.

On behalf of the Board of Directors and singers of Early Music Michigan, thank you for your generous support, and we look forward to seeing you at our concerts!

Other Ways to Support EMM

Qualified Charitable Distributions

Another donation option available to people with a tax-deferred traditional IRA and who are older than 70 ½ is to set up the ability to send tax free donations to 501(c)3 nonprofits directly from your IRA trustee as a Qualified Charitable Distribution.

Volunteer

We would love to discuss how you can support EMM in non-monetary ways as well! Volunteers help us with publicity, logistics at concerts, and more. Please fill out our Volunteer Survey to let us know you are interested in volunteering and we will contact you to discuss how you can help!

One of the most fulfilling ways to support EMM is to offer accommodation or transportation to visiting artists from around Michigan, and sometimes farther afield, who join us to perform! If you have a guest room (a separate entrance is not required) or are willing to volunteer your time to offer rides to visiting artists, please let us know through the Volunteer Survey.

Serve on our Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors has a vital role in ensuring EMM’s sustainability as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and as a local performing arts ensemble. We are actively recruiting new board members, so please contact us if you are interested in shaping EMM’s future! We are particularly looking for Directors with accounting or legal expertise, but we would love to hear from anyone who is interested! No musical ability or experience is necessary–just enthusiasm for supporting EMM.
